What is more important to you--happiness or truth? What does the word truth mean to you?
Truth and happiness are equally important to me. Without truth, happiness is fake. If you're being lied to, you're happy until you find out that you have been being lied to. On the other hand, if you're the one who is lying you may think that you're happy, but deep down you're always going to feel guilty about the fact that you are lying to the people around you. You are also always going to be in fear of someone exposing your truth and people hating you or leaving you for lying. The word truth to me means being completely honest with everyone around you. I also think that truth means being honest with yourself about who you are and what you believe in and not trying to be someone you're not just to please other people.
